About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our growing maintenance team. Our current fleet includes UH-60A Black Hawk, EC135, EC130 and AS350.
This role may incorporate some travel to regional South Australia, as well as interstate and overseas locations, allowing you to extend your skills and work independently and creatively to solve complex problems while having the full support from the team in Adelaide.
The role can either be a touring role (2 on, 2 off schedule) or a full-time permanent role based at Parafield Airport working 7:30am–4:00pm Monday to Friday. Relocation support is available for the right applicant.
Skills and Experience
This position will suit a positive individual with a high level of aviation airworthiness and regulatory knowledge who is keen to work as part of a team across a fleet of rotary and fixed wing aircraft, as well as independently from time to time.
- Hold a CASA B1.3 licence and UH-60 Type Rating (or experience on airframe)
- Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
- Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
- Experience providing, or interest in providing, on-the-job training to AMEs and Apprentices (highly regarded)
- Ability to act as a Job Coordinator during maintenance activities to meet the requirements of CAR30 and/or Part 145 MOE and the issue of Maintenance Releases
- ASIC Security Card (or able to attain)
- Knowledge of and experience using Aerotrack preferred but not essential
- Ability to learn quickly and manage time well across varied aircraft types
