About the Role
  
We are seeking a B1.3 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join us at our Base Maintenance facility located in Archerfield.

Working a 7/7 roster, you will be responsible for both planned and unplanned maintenance activities working predominately on AW139 helicopters. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting scheduled and unscheduled inspections of aircraft systems, structures, and components to ensure airworthiness and compliance with regulations.

  • Executing maintenance tasks, repairs, and replacements of aircraft parts and systems.

  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspection reports, repair logs, and compliance documentation, to ensure regulatory compliance and traceability.

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

  • Working closely with other maintenance personnel, pilots, and regulatory authorities to coordinate maintenance activities and address safety concerns.

About You

Your approach to safety, attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards and company procedures are essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our aircraft documentation.  You will also possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Full-time working rights in Australia (mandatory)

  • CASA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (mandatory)

  • AW139 Type Rating (desirable) 

  • B412, BK117 or A109 Type Rating (desirable) 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and their maintenance requirements.

  • Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements and standards, particularly regarding airworthiness and maintenance control.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of PART 145 regulatory framework

  • An understanding of company policies and procedures (MOE and SMS)

  • Basic computer literacy

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a team

  • Be practical and resourceful with demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Be resourceful with a can-do attitude
