Aero Logistics operates the largest fleet of CASA approved, survey configured fixed wing aircraft in Australia. As industry leading experts in aerial survey operations, aviation safety compliance and our inhouse engineering capability, we are seeking applications for a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team based at Archerfield Airport.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

About the Role
This role is responsible for carrying out aircraft maintenance on our fleet of Reims 406 and Cessna 404 aircraft in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures. This role ensures the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational performance are consistently maintained.

Experience on Reims 406 or Cessna 404 aircraft is preferred but not essential for this role.

A minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft

  • Certify maintenance in accordance with CASA regulations and company approvals

  • Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical defects

  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards

  • Maintain accurate and timely maintenance documentation

  • Support operational requirements,

About You

  • CASA Part 66 B.1.1 Licence (Mechanical)

  • CASA Part 66 B1.2 Licence highly regarded

  • PT6 experience and/or type rating valuable

  • Previous experience on Cessna 400 series aircraft preferred

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practices

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety
