About the Role
A Firefighter is sought to join Fire and Rescue operations at the Army Aviation Centre in Oakey, QLD, on an early/late roster, responding to incidents including airfield, structural and bushfire management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain operational readiness in accordance with relevant procedures
- Perform administrative duties associated with operational duties
- Comply with operational health and safety requirements
- Undertake training and drills to maintain operational readiness
Essential Requirements
- PUA20622 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
- PUA30619 Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
- Current HR driver's licence
- Australian Citizen, able to obtain Defence Security Clearance (Negative Vetting 1) and pass a CASA Basic Class 2 medical
