About the Role
Downer is inviting applications to join its permanent workforce at RAAF Base Townsville as an Airfield Operator. Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and upkeep of the site aerodrome and surrounding grounds.
- Provide inspection and compliance to relevant standards.
- Input into aerodrome and grounds tools used for reporting.
- Use of aerodrome delivery and inspection plans.
- Ensure work delivered aligns with Aerodrome requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service).
- CASA/DASA Endorsement – QLD or NSW.
- Current Open Driver's licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory).
Desirable
- Certificate III/IV in Horticulture.
- CASA Aerodrome Reporting Officer Certification.
