About the Role
As this significant long-term operations and maintenance contract continues to grow, UGL is seeking a Fuel Tanker Driver to join its team at HMAS Albatross, Shoalhaven, NSW. In this pivotal role, reporting through to the Operations Supervisor, you will support the Defence Fuel Network across Australia, ensuring operational excellence and reliability, and contribute directly to the success of a program essential to national defence capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base
- Work closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel
- Deliver the fuel to the designated fuel point i.e. refuelling point, aircraft on the runway etc
- Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft
- Communicate with internal and external teams to ensure good customer experience
Essential Requirements
- HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence essential
- Proven experience operating heavy vehicles essential
- Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry highly regarded
- Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team
- Current holder, or ability to obtain, relevant security clearances
