The Opportunity

As McDermott Aviation prepares for the upcoming fire season, it is seeking a Helicopter Refueller / Truck Driver at Bankstown Airport (casual seasonal, commencing late September 2026), ensuring aircraft, fuel and equipment are ready to respond when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Refuel helicopters and support aircraft ground operations
Operate fuel trucks in accordance with Dangerous Goods requirements
Assist with loading and handling firefighting substances and equipment
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of refuelling equipment

Essential Requirements

Unrestricted HR (Heavy Rigid) driver licence
Current Dangerous Goods (DG) licence and Australian driver licence
Full Australian working rights
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
