About the Role
Aerotech is recruiting multiple truck drivers/loaders to support fire season activities from October, operating fuel trucks to various locations across Australia on a FIFO basis, dispensing JetA1 fuel and providing ground crew support to aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate refuelling vehicles, dispensing JetA1 fuel into rotary and fixed wing aircraft
- Drive fuel trucks across long distances to support fire contracts
- Provide ground support to aircraft and help maintain vehicles and equipment
- Willingness to travel and be away from home for extended periods (generally up to 2 weeks)
Essential Requirements
- Unrestricted driver's licence and unrestricted HR and DG truck licence
- Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Basic mechanical and load restraint knowledge; strong experience driving large trucks
