Whether you are an experienced Aircraft Refueller or seeking to embark on a new career in the aviation industry, as our long-term operations and maintenance contract continues to grow, we are seeking an aircraft refueller to join our team at RAAF Amberley, SEQLD. UGL’s training and development programs enable entry into the industry.
The Role
- Support the Defence Fuel Network across Australia, ensuring operational excellence and reliability
- Carry out before-use inspections of refuelling vehicles, equipment and documentation to ensure operational readiness
- Conduct daily fuel quality checks in line with safe work procedures (SWPs)
- Safely approach and refuel Australian and international military aircraft, establishing exclusion zones, bonding equipment and observing all aviation safety requirements
- Complete all post-refuelling documentation, including meter readings and customer sign-off, and report hazards or incidents promptly
What You Need
- Safety at the forefront of everything you do
- A valid HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence (essential)
- Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry (highly regarded)
- Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team
- Current holder, or ability to obtain, relevant security clearances
