Tuna City Aviation is proud to announce a full-time position for an AME/LAME located in the beautiful fishing capital of South Australia at Port Lincoln Airport, where the outdoor lifestyle is second to none.
About the Role
We are seeking a CASA Part 66 B1.2 and/or B2 AME/LAME to join our close-knit engineering team. The ideal candidate will hold:
- CASA Part 66 B1.2 (Piston Engines) LAME licence with B1 exclusions removed (E3 powerplant and E33 turbocharging), and/or
- B2 LAME with B2 exclusions removed (E1, E4, E5 basic electrical/instruments and E32 multi generator systems removed)
AME candidates who are close to completing their CASA licence will also be considered.
Must Have
- Australian Driver's Licence (Class C)
- Current ASIC or ability to obtain one
- Minimum 4 years' experience working around aircraft safely
- Australian working rights and privileges
- Strong communication skills with a grasp of technical English
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals and manufacturers' publications
- Strong aptitude regarding CASA compliance, technical records, safe work practices and ability to work in a close-knit team
- Knowledge of aircraft hardware

- Sheetmetal training and skills with basic technique and understanding as addressed in AC43-13 1B 2A Standard Practices
