Its Hendra, Brisbane facility, a CASA-approved Aircraft Wheel and Brake MRO operating for almost 10 years, provides component maintenance to one of Australia's largest commercial airlines and many others.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Aircraft Wheel and Brake Technician accomplishes production operations, ensuring disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly and testing of wheel and brake components remains smooth and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassembly, cleaning, visual and functional inspections of aircraft wheel and brake components
- Repairs, assembly and testing of aircraft wheels and brakes
- Monitor and organise workflows to meet daily assembly goals
Essential Requirements
- Completed secondary schooling, minimum 21 years of age
- Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or equivalent, or 2+ years as an AME/Aircraft Technician (advantageous)
- Knowledge of CASA and/or EASA Part 145 regulations
- Working knowledge of IT systems including MS Office, Quantum Control, TRAX
