About the Role

TAE Aerospace is looking for a highly motivated Engine Maintenance Control Officer to join the team that supports the F135 engine — the most powerful engine ever installed in a fighter jet, powering the F-35 Lightning II.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the timely and accurate creation of user-friendly work packages in customer-provided enterprise digital solutions (e.g. SAP, Solumina, CAMM2)
  • Manage the administration of major changes to released work packages to avoid delays to production
  • Conduct audits of technical work packages for accuracy before final close out
  • Participate in root cause and corrective action processes for non-conformance reports
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce cost base and improve efficiency

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability as a maintenance manager ensuring work packages adhere to continuous airworthiness, customer and regulatory requirements
  • Experience using enterprise digital solutions (e.g. SAP, Solumina, IFS, Microsoft)
  • Experience in an aerospace propulsion or component/MRO operations environment
  • Minimum five years in an aviation MRO operations environment, or equivalent mechanical operations environment
  • Professional engineering qualification (BEng) or Cert IV in Aeroskills (or equivalent) with 4 years post-qualification experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement training
  • Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and/or Aviation Security Identification Card
