About the Opportunity
Ready to work on some of the most advanced maritime and special-mission aircraft in the sky? Airbus Australia Pacific is looking for a skilled AME (Avionics) to join our Base Maintenance team in Edinburgh, SA. This is a permanent, full-time role on a 9-day fortnight, with newly boosted EBA rates offering a highly competitive, market-leading remuneration package.
Working within a supportive, tight-knit team, you will directly support RAAF 11SQN and 12SQN maintenance. Your day-to-day will involve a dynamic mix of on-aircraft and off-aircraft maintenance, advanced systems troubleshooting, rapid rectification tasks and complex modifications, ensuring the operational readiness of a high-profile fleet.
What You’ll Bring
- Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or an equivalent qualification from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
- Strong aviation airworthiness knowledge with proven experience applying it in a strictly regulated environment
- Total familiarity with aircraft maintenance documentation, IETPs and contemporary maintenance practices
- The ability to obtain a B-level Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- Confident written and verbal communication skills and solid computer literacy (including MS Office)

Eligibility
Due to the critical nature of this defence project, you must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance. Because of this requirement, only Australian citizens (including dual citizens holding Australian citizenship) are eligible to apply.
