The Opportunity
The Cargo Flight Operations Agent is a key member of the flight operations team, coordinating and managing all aspects of cargo operations within the airline's flight schedule, ensuring efficient, safe and compliant handling of cargo from acceptance through to loading and unloading.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support daily cargo operations for scheduled flights
- Process and maintain cargo documentation including air waybills, manifests and customs documentation
- Track and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments
- Monitor flight schedules and communicate operational changes or delays
- Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, flight crews and ground handlers
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards and security requirements
- Support handling of dangerous goods and special cargo
Desirable
- Experience with cargo management systems (e.g. Cargospot) and flight operations software
- IATA Dangerous Goods Air certification
