About the Role
Menzies Aviation is currently seeking motivated and safety-focused Part Time Cargo Warehouse Agents to join the Sydney T1 Cargo team. Suitable candidates will be required to deliver a range of Cargo services including sorting, packing and unpacking freight based at Sydney Airport, T1.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform duties focused on 'hands-on' activities directly and indirectly associated with freight handling, including receipt and dispatch, sort or breakdown of cargo to customer specifications.
- Remain up to date with all station notices relating to policies and procedures.
- Remain up to date with all relevant operational training.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Current Forklift licence is required.
- Motivation and flexibility to work on a 7-day rotational shift roster as per flight schedules.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 32kg.
- Fluent spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Well presented.
- Must pass a Police check, Airport security check and pre-employment medical.
