The Opportunity
Full-time Airworthiness Engineering Officer based at Skytrans' Cairns Airport head office, reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager, supporting continued airworthiness of the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate aircraft technical records, manuals and airworthiness systems
- Support continuing airworthiness activities including reviews and compliance monitoring
- Review and assess Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
- Provide technical administration support and liaise with stakeholders
- Support the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and Technical Services activities
Essential Requirements
- Experience in continuing airworthiness management or related aviation technical environment
- Sound knowledge of CASA regulations including CASR Part 42
- Understanding of aircraft systems and technical documentation
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Current ASIC, or ability to obtain one
