About the Role
Skytanking Australia is seeking Into-Plane Operators (Refuellers) to join the team at Melbourne Airport. Full-time and part-time positions are available. You will safely and efficiently refuel aircraft, playing a crucial part in supporting smooth flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately refuel arriving aircraft using specialised aviation fuel trucks and equipment
- Monitor and maintain appropriate fuel levels, ensuring aircraft have sufficient fuel for onward journeys
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and minimise environmental impact
- Collaborate with ground crew to coordinate the refuelling process and minimise aircraft turnaround times
- Maintain detailed records of all refuelling activities and report any issues or discrepancies
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry regulations and best practices
Essential Requirements
- Valid Victorian driver's licence
- HR/HC licence and experience operating large commercial vehicles
- Valid Dangerous Goods licence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
Desirable
- At least 2 years' experience as an Into-Plane Operator or similar aviation role
