  • Lead the Wheels, Brakes and Aeromedical Stretcher Workshops for a life-saving fleet.
  • Combine hands-on technical expertise with genuine leadership, mentoring engineers, apprentices and technicians.
  • Work across a diverse fleet of business jets, turboprops and helicopters in one of Australia's most demanding aviation environments.
  • Full-time, permanent position based at Jandakot with free onsite parking.

About the team RFDS WA Engineering keeps a fleet of 17 Pilatus PC-12 (plus the new PC-12 PRO), 3 PC-24 jets and 2EC145 helicopters flying safely and reliably from our base at Jandakot and regional maintenance sites in Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra and soon Geraldton. As Workshop Supervisor, you'll lead a team responsible for two of the fleet's most safety-critical systems, working closely with Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Planning and Logistics, and Clinical teams to keep aircraft mission-ready around the clock. About the role

  • Lead the daily operations of the Wheels, Brakes and Aeromedical Stretcher Workshops, ensuring compliance with CASA Part 145 and OEM requirements.
  • Oversee the inspection, overhaul, repair and certification of wheel and brake assemblies and aeromedical stretcher systems.
  • Mentor and develop Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, apprentices and technicians, building a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

About you

  • Extensive aircraft maintenance experience, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Significant experience in aviation engineering or technical services.
  • Sound knowledge of CASA Part 145 and continuing airworthiness management.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Current driver's licence and ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC.
