About the Role
Opportunities exist for suitably qualified and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join the Rex engineering team full-time in Wagga Wagga, NSW, carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Rex Group's aircraft, aircraft components and ground equipment.
Essential Requirements
- Acceptable mechanical, structural, or avionics certification/qualification/experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting under minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a close-knit team environment as well as unsupervised to meet deadlines
- Sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and documentation
- Working knowledge of WH&S procedures
- SAAB 340 and turbo-prop aircraft experience highly preferred
- Experience in airline operations or relevant GA experience
- Valid Australian driver's licence
- Ability to obtain an airport ASIC and Airside Driver's Licence
- Flexibility to work a 4-day shift roster Monday to Friday, plus overtime as required
Benefits
- Starting salary of $79,500 per annum depending on shift pattern, licensing, qualifications and experience, under the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers' Agreement
