Virgin Australia's Engineering team plays a critical role in keeping the fleet safe, reliable and ready to fly, working across the Boeing 737 NG and 737 MAX fleet in a highly regulated environment.
The Opportunity
Based at the Brisbane or Melbourne hangar, you'll join the Mechanical Systems & Cabin Engineering team, supporting continuing airworthiness, configuration control and reliability of the 737 fleet, contributing to technical investigations, engineering assessments and defect resolution.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline, or an AME qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma or equivalent)
- Sound understanding of engineering principles with interest in aircraft mechanical systems and cabin engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical information
- Experience within an airline, MRO or aircraft maintenance environment highly regarded
- Experience on Boeing 737 aircraft and with TRAX/eMRO highly regarded
