About the Role
The Store Supervisor is responsible for the overall effective, efficient, compliant, and safe operation of the Nauru Airlines Engineering (NAE) stores and tool cribs. The role ensures all activities for the receipt, dispatch, and storage of aircraft components and materials at all NAE Part 145 stores are carried out in accordance with regulatory approvals and company procedures.
The Store Supervisor will lead and manage stores and tool crib personnel to ensure safety, effectiveness, and compliance, drive continuous improvement of staff and processes, and develop and manage logistics KPIs. The role is responsible for managing inventory and procurement to meet operational and financial requirements, ensuring stores and tool crib facilities are maintained to a safe and compliant standard, and contributing to the strategy development and success of the division as part of the NAE Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure only NAE stores staff approved by the Quality Manager accept Aeronautical Product
- Ensure all incoming Aeronautical Product, tools, and commercial items conform to the Purchase Order
- Ensure Aeronautical Products, equipment, and calibrated tooling are received with appropriate and correct documentation, free from damage and deterioration
- Ensure Aeronautical Product, equipment, and calibrated tooling are packaged, handled, stored, and transported in accordance with the Exposition
- Identify, verify, and store parts, materials, tooling, and equipment with shelf life, service life, or special storage requirements in accordance with recommended conditions
- Issue and receipt tooling from the Tool Crib
- Ensure stores and tool crib operations are fully compliant with the Exposition, NAE procedures, policies, and work instructions
Essential Requirements
- Completion of Goods Inwards Inspection Training
- Good working knowledge of the Logistics and Inventory Management System
- Understanding of CASA requirements relating to the supply of Aeronautical Products
- Knowledge of company logistics procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Exposition, NAE procedures and work instructions, the Safety Management System, and Quality Management System Policies and Procedures
