The Opportunity
Reporting to the Risk Manager, this hands-on role supports the development and compliance of business and safety programs, ensuring Menzies Aviation Group meets and maintains all regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate communication of WHS matters across the business, including safety induction and wellbeing training
- Maintain the WHS (MORSE) Management System, risk registers, policies and procedures
- Complete SMART inspections and collate SMART data for WHS meetings
- Monitor workplace compliance with applicable legislation, policies and procedures
- Assist with reporting, documenting and investigating WHS matters and incidents
- Coordinate the WHS Committee and safety meetings, driving initiatives and actions
- Participate in supplier evaluation and internal/external audits
Essential Requirements
- Strong organisational and communication skills, able to collaborate at all levels
- Ability to operate with minimal tactical direction in a complex environment
- Strong Office 365 skills
- Sound judgement and discretion handling sensitive/confidential matters
