About the Role
We are seeking a full time Procurement Officer, based in Cooroy, Sunshine Coast, to handle all procurement activities, sourcing, negotiating, and securing materials, equipment, and services to support our aviation operations. The role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality, and compliance while building strong supplier relationships. This position is open to candidates with procurement or purchasing experience; aviation knowledge is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Source and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers
Raise and process purchase orders, including urgent requirements
Maintain inventory and ensure materials and equipment are available when needed
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Support reporting on procurement activities, spend, and supplier performance
Learn aviation-specific procedures and regulatory requirements (training provided)
Experience & Qualifications
Experience in procurement or purchasing
Diploma in Procurement, Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (desirable)
Strong negotiation, communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills
Knowledge of procurement regulations and ethical standards
CASA/FAA regulatory knowledge is a plus but not required
