The Role
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Cooroy facility, working as part of our high-performing paint shop team. You will play a key role in supporting our growing fleet and ensuring operational capability through hands-on, workshop-based work.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of metallic and composite surfaces prior to coating
- Sub-assembly of parts and components prior to coating
- Mix and apply primers and paint to aircraft surfaces in line with specifications
- Document and maintain accurate records of all work completed
- Maintain paint shop equipment and materials, including ordering consumables
- Ensure all work is compliant with prescribed specifications, meets safety standards, and is completed to the highest quality
About You
- Certificate III in Aircraft Surface Refinishing, Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing, or equivalent trade experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Motivated to perform in a disciplined, safety-focused aviation environment
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a growing operation
