Seair Pacific is one of Queensland's leading charter air services and the sole provider of the flight service to the iconic and industry leading Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort. Seair owns, operates and maintains its own fleet of C208 & DHC-6 turboprop aircraft.
We are seeking a well organised and dynamic team player to support our Aircraft Maintenance Engineer team based in our hangar/head office in the general aviation area at the Gold Coast Airport.
The position will be full time, and across a 4 day work week.
The role is versatile and covers support across several key areas of our engineering operations.
On the job training will be provided to fill experience gaps where necessary.
Duties:
Aircraft parts store goods receiving, quality control, dispatch & stocktake
Input of data and ordering through our ‘Aerotrack’ program
Working alongside our qualified engineering team offering support with day-to-day mechanical and avionics servicing & repairs
Hardware & software maintenance & repairs of our flight training simulators
Offering technical support to our flight crews utilising flight training simulators
Ground support equipment maintenance and servicing
Requirements for the role:
Minimum Certificate III qualification in a relevant engineering stream, with preference given to Aeroskills, Information Technology, Electrical, or Electronics qualifications
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a broad range of new skills
Ability to listen well and follow instructions
Excellent attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Eligible to hold an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
Hold a valid Australian drivers license
