The Opportunity
Permanent full-time Reliability & Airworthiness Engineer based at Perth Airport, reporting to the Part 42 Responsible Manager, supporting the CAMO's transition to CASA Part 42 operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage aircraft reliability programs and monitor fleet performance
- Produce monthly reliability reports and facilitate review meetings
- Conduct Airworthiness Reviews and support ARC issuance where authorised
- Develop and maintain the Reliability Manual and Airworthiness Review Program
- Monitor aircraft defects, reliability trends and Service Difficulty Reports
- Support Maintenance Data Assessments and regulatory compliance
- Maintain airworthiness records and support CAMO policy/procedure reviews
- Liaise with engineering, maintenance organisations, OEMs and regulators
Essential Requirements
- Aircraft maintenance engineering qualifications or relevant aviation engineering background
- Sound knowledge of CASA regulatory requirements (Part 42, Part 145 and/or Part 121 highly regarded)
- Experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO) activities
- Strong analytical skills interpreting reliability data and trends
- Current ASIC or ability to obtain one
Desirable
- Previous Part 42/145/121 experience
- Experience with Aircraft Cloud, Aerotrac, Tracware or similar
- Dash 8 fleet experience
