About the Role
Nexus Airlines is seeking highly skilled Q400 type-rated Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (B1 & B2) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with the aircraft's approved maintenance data.
- Ensure all parts and materials are airworthy and appropriate for their application.
- Report all defects or faults identified during maintenance to the allocated Maintenance Coordinator.
- Ensure all certifications are made in accordance with the approved systems of certification.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years work experience as an LAME, preferably with a sound knowledge of the Civil Aviation Regulations.
- Hold a current CASA Part 66 Licence or equivalent in Category B1 or B2.
- Possess experience working on aircraft within Nexus's fleet or similar; be highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work effectively as part of a tight-knit team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills; ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (DAMP); ability to obtain an ASIC.
Desirable
- Extensive experience / type rating with Dash 8 Q400 highly desirable.
