About Aviair
Aviair is a leading aviation company headquartered in Kununurra, with maintenance bases in Broome, Kununurra and Karratha. Aviair provides extensive charter, RPT and tourism services across the Kimberley and Pilbara with a fleet of approximately 30 aircraft, predominantly maintaining its own fleet including B200, C208, PC12, B58 and GA8 types.
The Opportunity
Aviair is seeking a B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join its Kununurra base, carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data
- Ensure all parts and materials are airworthy and appropriate for their application
- Report defects or faults to the allocated Maintenance Coordinator
- Ensure certifications are made in accordance with Aviair's approved systems of certification
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' work experience as a LAME, with sound knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations
- Current CASA Part 66 Licence in Category B1 or B2 (PT6 engine type rating or experience preferred)
- Experience working on similar aircraft types
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (DAMP); eligibility to obtain an ASIC
