About the Role
Join our LifeFlight team as a Technical Records Officer and play a pivotal role in our mission to save lives and serve communities. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position, offered to cover an upcoming parental leave period.
  
You’ll be based at our brand-new heavy maintenance facility in Archerfield, where innovation meets excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance records are accurately maintained, up to date, and compliant with aviation regulations. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and airworthiness of our fleet.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Record Keeping: Accurately document aircraft maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.

  • Component Tracking: Maintain detailed records of aircraft components such as engines, avionics, and landing gear.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to aviation regulations and support audits with accurate documentation.

  • Data Integrity & Accuracy: Conduct regular audits and cross-check records to eliminate discrepancies.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with engineers, maintenance personnel, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless record-keeping.  

About You

Your attention to detail, commitment to regulatory standards, and adherence to company procedures are crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our aircraft documentation. To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience – you must have previous experience as a Technical Records Officer or similar role

  • Exceptional attention to detail – You can accurately maintain and manage documentation with precision.

  • Strong organisational skills – You can effectively handle large volumes of data and documentation.

  • Clear and concise communication – Both written and verbal, ensuring seamless coordination with

  • internal teams and regulatory bodies.

  • Problem-solving ability – You can quickly identify and resolve discrepancies in aircraft documentation.

  • Time management skills – You can efficiently prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and ensure timely updates.

  • Adaptability – You thrive in a dynamic aviation environment and can adjust to changing priorities and procedures.

  • Team collaboration – You work well with maintenance, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth documentation processes.

  • Technical proficiency – You are proficient in Microsoft Office and can quickly adapt to new systems.

Salary Packaging Options:
 As an employee of LifeFlight, you have the opportunity to benefit from salary packaging, allowing you to allocate up to $15,900 per Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year towards general living expenses.
