About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) – Fixed Wing to join our Engineering team based at the Archerfield Aircraft Maintenance Facility.
This full-time role works 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 6:00am and 6:00pm, and reports to the Maintenance Manager – Fixed Wing.
You will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing safety, availability and airworthiness of our fixed-wing fleet, with a strong focus on:
Line maintenance and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) response
Oversight and ownership of charter aircraft maintenance activities
Maintenance planning and fleet availability management, in collaboration with Maintenance Control
Supporting safe, efficient and compliant operations across the fixed-wing environment
This is a hands-on, operationally critical role suited to a proactive engineer who thrives in a dynamic aviation setting.
About You
You are a qualified and motivated Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with a strong commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
Essential capability includes:
Current CASA Part 66 Licence with B1.1 and/or B2 category ratings;
Proven experience as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in a similar role or airline maintenance environment.
Proven attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team focused environment, and
Strong knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Work Health & Safety (WHS).
Highly regarded experience and certifications:
CL604 Type Rating and/or complex aircraft experience (type rated)
Proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Gannet or CAMP
Current Human Factors and DAMP certification
