British Airways are seeking experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team of Professionals at Sydney International Airport.
Candidates for the LAME position must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance engineering.
The Licensed Aircraft Engineer will be responsible on a shift basis for technical certification of BA and customer aircraft.
To be considered for LAME role, applicants will need to hold a UK CAA 66 or CASA 66 B1 License.
Type ratings on A350, A380, B777 and/or B787 would be an added advantage.
Holders of CASA 66 B1 license without type will also be considered for development.
For AME position, a Diploma / Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance required or currently enrolled in same. AME role is contract with opportunity for development to LAME.
Successful candidates will have excellent analytical/problem solving skills and highly developed written and oral communication.
