About the Role
This role is an opportunity to join the Cairns engineering team as a B1 LAME, reporting to the Senior Base Engineers, for the completion of assigned aircraft maintenance. The role offers a balanced lifestyle roster of 6 days on 6 days off, 10-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance, documentation and certification is carried out and completed in line with the MOE, procedures manuals and responsible CAMO requirements
- Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and incident/injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position
- Perform, implement and maintain any required shift/task handovers
- Ensure Critical Maintenance Tasks are completed with applicable control procedure prior to issue of a CRS
Essential Requirements
- Experienced LAME B1 or dual licensed
- Heavy and Line maintenance experience
- Hold a DHC8 classic or Cl604 type rating
- Full Australian working rights (applicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements)
