Frequentis is currently delivering cutting edge air traffic management projects including drone management systems, remote digital towers, end-to-end IP voice communications, and airfield management systems.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join a dynamic, collaborative team leading the advancement of air traffic management technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong technical understanding of Frequentis products and project-specific solutions
- System installation, deployment, configuration, and integration activities
- Identify and resolve software integration issues during system setup
- Create and maintain technical documentation and interface specifications
- Execute formal testing and acceptance procedures to achieve customer approval
- Engage with customers to understand operational scenarios and technical requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams and international partners, including Frequentis HQ in Vienna
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Experience with Linux, Python, Git and Docker
- Experience with IP networking and configuring firewalls
- A background in systems engineering across the lifecycle: specification, installation, integration, and testing
- Knowledge of Voice Communication Systems and ATC functions
- Experience with safety-critical or government regulated environments (e.g. ASDEFCON contracts)
