About the Role
We are looking for an experienced RPAS Instructor / Consultant in the NSW/ACT area for an immediate start. Working alongside other skilled, qualified instructors, you will train individuals enrolled to gain their Remote Pilot Licences and other endorsements (including BVLOS, EVLOS and Medium RPA) nationwide. When not training, you will assist with other training programs and consultancy for our local and international clients. You will be based remotely from our head office (working from home) and will need to be self-sufficient and self-motivated. Much of our theory is conducted in a virtual classroom.
Please note: travel will be a significant part of this role, mainly throughout NSW, ACT and VIC, but also other states and occasionally international. A willingness to travel is essential and non-negotiable.

Essential
- Prior training experience and good experience in the RPAS industry
- A genuine passion for training and delivering high-quality client outcomes
- A professional home office suitable for video conferencing
- Professionalism and integrity at all times
- Good computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); MacOS a serious advantage
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- At a minimum, CASA Multi Rotor Sub 25kg with the ability to upgrade ratings
- Remote Pilot Licence with demonstrated RPAS industry experience
- Current driver’s licence and clean driving record
- Ability to travel on a regular basis
- Clean police check
Desirable
- Aviation experience (e.g. instructor rating)
- Instrument Rating (IREX)
- Part 61 licensing
- Consultancy and technical writing skills
- Web skills, Cert IV in TAA, Apple skills
