Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) is a world-class aviation training organisation with a proud history dating back to 1982. We deliver customised aviation training solutions across both fixed- and rotary-wing disciplines, from two key campuses:

  • Parafield Airport (SA) – Fixed-wing and rotary-wing

  • Wellcamp Airport (QLD) – Fixed-wing only

We are currently seeking a qualified B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Parafield-based Engineering Team.

About the Role

You will play a critical role in supporting Australia’s largest fleet of Diamond piston-engine aircraft, as well as the Mudry CAP 10 and Schweizer helicopters. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining aircraft to the highest safety and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Need

  • Hold a B2 CASA Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence

  • General aviation maintenance experience

  • Experience with single and multi-engine piston aircraft

  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand

  • Must return a negative drug and alcohol (AOD) test result
