About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Helicopter Pilot who also holds a Grade 1 Flight Instructor Rating to join our team at our South East Queensland base. This position is primarily a line pilot role with the added responsibility of conducting internal training, proficiency checks and pilot development. It is not a dedicated flight training position. Travel between our operational bases and client locations may be required.
Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the successful applicant will conduct commercial helicopter operations, deliver internal pilot training and standardisation activities, support pilot mentoring and development, maintain the highest standards of operational safety, and represent Executive Helicopters professionally with clients and stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter) (CPL(H)) or Air Transport Pilot Licence (Helicopter) (ATPL(H))
- Grade 1 Helicopter Flight Instructor Rating
- Minimum 3,000 hours total helicopter flight time
- Current Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
- Current Flight Review and Instructor Proficiency Check
- Sound knowledge of CASA regulations and operational standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel as required across our South East and South West Queensland bases
Desirable
- Charter, aerial work, utility and sling operations experience
- Fire, emergency services or government contract operations experience
- Experience operating Airbus AS350 and EC130 helicopters
- Operational leadership or pilot mentoring experience
