Northwest Helicopters is a growing operator providing aerial services including feral animal control, charter and low-level survey work. We value precision, safety and professionalism. As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious R44 Helicopter Pilot to join our team in Narrabri, NSW.
The Role
This full-time position involves a variety of operational flying, including low-level aerial survey, various charter and feral animal control, plus general R44 operations in regional and remote areas and maintaining aircraft and hangar cleanliness. Most flying is conducted locally, so you’ll be home most nights.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter (CPL-H)
- R44 Type Rating
- 250+ hours total time
- Demonstrated low-level flight experience
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Completed Dangerous Goods (DG) awareness course
- Valid First Aid certificate, ASIC card and current DAMP test
- Nil accident history and a valid manual driver’s licence
- Strong communication skills, situational awareness and the ability to work independently in remote field conditions
Desirable
- Low-level flying experience (aerial culling, mustering, surveys)
- Firearms licence/experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge / helicopter servicing (e.g. 50hr Maintenance Authority)
