As our business continues to grow, we are seeking experienced B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) to join our maintenance teams in Sydney and Melbourne.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with CASA regulations and company procedures. This is a Monday to Friday position, with overtime opportunities available as operational requirements dictate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out aircraft inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Identify defects in aircraft, engines, components, and accessories that could affect airworthiness or safety
- Report unairworthy conditions promptly to Certifying Staff, Maintenance Supervisors, or Management
- Participate in quality assurance activities and independent audits
- Maintain hangar and workshop in a safe, clean, and orderly condition
- Support and promote a strong safety culture through open communication and reporting
- Contribute actively to the organisation's quality and safety management systems
About You
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
- Experience working in aircraft maintenance environments
- Business jet aircraft experience highly regarded
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
