Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR) ANZ operates more than 30 bars, cafés and restaurants across seven airports in Australia and New Zealand, partnering with brands including Heineken, AFL Kitchen & Bar and Little Creatures, as part of the wider Emirates Group.
The Opportunity
ELR is seeking a Casual Commis Chef at Perth Airport with the potential to transition to a full-time position, working across multiple sites on a 7-day rotating roster (25-38 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Chefs with preparation of food prior to service
- Ensure individual section is ready to meet daily functions and special requirements
- Be actively involved in daily service cooking and serving menu items to company standards
- Inform the Head/Sous Chef of stock shortfalls or orders needed for the next day
Essential Requirements
- Completion of appropriate culinary certification; experience as Commis Chef or above
- Understanding of food safety practices and stock rotation
- Must obtain an ASIC (full background and criminal history check required)
