About the Role

dnata has the opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The ideal candidate will thrive working in a fast paced, complex environment where no two days are the same. If you are a strategic thinker, capable of aligning People objectives with business goals and happy to be hands on, this role could be for you.

About You and the Role

  • Collaborate with ease across diverse departments to implement people initiatives that support the company's growth and success
  • Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR-related matters and fostering a positive work environment
  • Collaborate with managers to address employee relations issues, performance management, and talent development
  • Drive organisational change initiatives and support the execution of HR programs
  • Partner with the recruitment team to attract, select, and onboard top talent aligned with business needs
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Conduct training sessions on various HR-related topics to enhance employee skills and knowledge

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a P&C Business Partner or similar role in a blue collar / unionised environment, with knowledge of HR/IR functions and best practices; experience gained in the aviation industry regarded even more highly
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and handle sensitive HR issues with professionalism in a complex fast paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations, or a related field
  • Must be willing to travel to other states as required
