About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver (Airside) at Perth Airport, you are the face of dnata catering & retail on the tarmac — responsible for correctly loading catering onto aircraft. You'll load fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto hi-lift trucks, drive airside, guide the vehicle for safe approach, load carts onto the aircraft, and work with cabin crew to ensure everything is correct before returning empty carts to the catering facility.
This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours/week on a 7-day rotating roster around flight schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Short distance driving and basic vehicle checks including refuelling
- Load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens
- Guide and position trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies
- Communicate and coordinate with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery handover
- Administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties
Essential Requirements
- Clear National Police Check
- MR or HR driver's licence preferred (those without can start as a Marshaller)
- Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster around flight schedules
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Sound numeracy skills for accurate documentation
- Neat presentation with a strong focus on hygiene
