About the Role
NJE is seeking individuals who excel in customer service, prioritise safety, and bring a positive, approachable attitude. This is a full-time position involving shift work, including weekends, public holidays, and occasional overnight stays. Reporting to the Head of Cabin Crew, you will be the face of NJE, representing the company to passengers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all passengers including serving food and drinks, greeting passengers, and addressing feedback
- Inform passengers about emergency and safety procedures
- Liaise effectively with the Pilot, First Officer, and other NJE staff
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Uphold a high standard of professional uniform and grooming presentation
- Report and document any safety incidents or identified hazards
Essential Requirements
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Height between 160cm and 190cm
- Able to push/pull aircraft doors and exits weighing up to 18kg
- Current passport and Australian driver's licence
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009), or willing to obtain (min. 6 months validity)
- Current RSA, or willing to obtain (min. 6 months validity)
- Able to swim 50 metres unaided and tread water for 3 minutes
- Minimum Year 12 completion
- Availability to work 24/7 roster including shift work
- Proven experience working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
