A Day in the Life of a Chef

Join our Sydney team as a full-time Chef and play a key role in delivering an exceptional in-flight dining experience for some of the world's leading 5-star airlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
• Preparing and cooking a variety of bulk hot and cold dishes, following menu specifications and ensuring consistent quality
• Using advanced knife skills and food preparation equipment efficiently, maintaining portion control and minimising waste
• Conducting quality checks and upholding all food safety, safety, and hygiene policies, including HACCP
• Coordinating catering staff and other team members to deliver to production schedules
• Demonstrating basic computer skills for administrative tasks

About You

• Full ongoing working rights in Australia
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including National Police Check and medical assessment
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
• 2+ years' Chef experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
• Availability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays, and to stand for extended periods
• Food hygiene and HACCP knowledge desirable
