We have an exciting opportunity available for a Manager, Health, Safety & Environment to join our Sydney team. This role plays a critical leadership role in supporting the Sydney and Canberra operations through the delivery of health, safety, environmental, rehabilitation, and return-to-work programs that drive compliance, reduce risk, and foster a strong safety culture.
About The Role
As the Manager, Health, Safety & Environment, you will partner closely with operational leaders, employees, regulators, and external stakeholders to deliver proactive HSE initiatives across multiple sites, working with medical providers, rehabilitation specialists, and insurers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver HSE training, inductions, coaching, and awareness programs.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.
- Support environmental compliance through risk management, reporting, audits, and corrective actions.
About You
- Formal Health and Safety qualification (essential). Environmental qualifications or environmental compliance experience will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in a Health, Safety & Environment leadership role within a complex operational environment.
- Proven experience leading or supporting multi-site operations and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety legislation and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and corrective action programs.
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation schemes and rehabilitation/return-to-work processes.
