The Opportunity
As Calibration & Workshop Technician, you'll perform calibration, testing, fault diagnosis and repair on avionics test equipment, electronic components and aircraft-related systems in accordance with manufacturers' and published tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, verification and serviceability checks of avionics test equipment
- Maintain calibration records, certificates and traceability documentation
- Perform fault-finding, testing, repair and overhaul of avionics and electronic components
- Read and interpret technical manuals, circuit diagrams and schematics
- Use oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analysers and multimeters to diagnose faults
Essential Requirements
- Ensure all work complies with CASA Part 145 and applicable regulatory standards
- Detail-oriented, committed to safety, with an interest in aviation
- Must pass pre-employment alcohol and drug screening
Desirable
- Previous experience in a calibrations role
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
