About the role
We are seeking an experienced China Eastern Airline Representative to join our dynamic sales team based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah KKIA Airport. In this strategic position, you will be responsible for driving new business development opportunities and expanding China Eastern Airlines' market presence within the region. This role is fundamental to our growth objectives, as you will serve as the primary liaison between the airline and key business partners, travel agencies, corporate clients, and tourism operators. You will play a vital part in building strong commercial relationships and identifying innovative solutions to maximise revenue opportunities for the airline in this crucial market.
Key responsibilities
- Passenger check-in & boarding assistance
- Flight arrival & departure coordination
- Liaise with airport, ground handling and airline teams
- Handle passenger enquiries and special assistance
- Monitor flight operations and irregularities
- Prepare operational reports and documentation
What we're looking for
- Able to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
- Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Chinese is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication, Customer-service oriented and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in business, sales, marketing or a related discipline, Previous airline/airport experience is an advantage
