About the Role

The Project Planner & Scheduler is a key role in the project management office, responsible for building, managing and maintaining project schedules and plans, including managing performance against the project plan and creating essential reporting for management briefings. This role will coordinate with Project Control Officers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Program Managers and other key internal and external stakeholders, such as customers, working closely with Project/Program Managers to ensure that all team members are aligned with the program and that tasks are planned, assigned and completed on time.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in project scheduling and planning
  • Strong proficiency in scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, etc.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance – must be an Australian citizen
  • Experience with integrating project management tools such as JIRA, Monday, or similar
  • Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in either the Homebush or Brisbane office

Desirable

  • Defence industry experience
  • Knowledge in project management methodology
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau, Excel or SQL
