The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Storeperson) to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team in Townsville, working alongside the Australian Army.

Program Overview

The AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

What You'll Get to Do

  • Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy
  • Handle, store and distribute Defence aviation materiel
  • Ensure compliance with BDA and ADF safe warehouse operation policies
  • Support disposal recommendations and action as required
  • Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policy
  • Support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chain
  • Work closely with the warehouse team on all other activities that arise

Who We're Looking For

  • 3 to 5+ years' experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management
  • Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies
  • Working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual or similar and the application of warehousing principles
  • Strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP
  • Ability to work within a team, with excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence
  • High Risk work licence
