About the Role
Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting one of the world's most advanced maritime patrol aircraft programs? As a Systems Administrator on the P-8A Poseidon team, based at RAAF Base Edinburgh, you'll be managing and maintaining a range of IT systems that keep our ADF customer mission ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
- Carry out patching and system hardening
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware issues
- Document and track system configuration
- Assist in the design of new solutions
Essential Requirements
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (CISCO, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of cyber security frameworks
