Reporting to the Chief Pilot, you will be responsible for operating a twin-engine aircraft (Beechcraft Baron and/or Cessna310) around Arnhemland. You can expect a fast-paced charter environment which will include day and night flying, single pilot operations and remote community service.
Due to our remote location, our services are largely depended on by the sick and injured. You should expect that this role will require you to, at times, complete medivac flights as well as conduct search and rescue flights. As these vulnerable times cannot be predicted, Black Diamond Aviation is a 24/7 company.

Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include:
In addition to flying duties, pilots are expected to assist with supporting other pilots with pre- and post-flight duties, cleaning of aircraft, assisting the operations team as required, and general cleaning and maintenance duties of the base.

Previous experience in a fast-paced charter operation environment is highly regarded
Demonstrate that you have enthusiasm, energy, and a high level of personal presentation
Hard work and a positive attitude with the ability to be solution focused in challenging situations
Have excellent people and communication skills
800 Total Flight Hours
20 hours Multi Engine
10 hours in a Beechcraft Baron and/or Cessna310
Australian CPL (A)
Current IPC
MEA IR IAP 2D IAP 3D (1 Renewal)
Current Class 1 Medical
ASIC
Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate
